Filmmaker and producer Tyler Perry is going through a sexual misconduct lawsuit.

The lawsuit was filed by actor Derek Dixon, who alleges that Perry engaged in sexual misconduct throughout and after Dixon’s time engaged on Perry’s tv productions.

Perry and his workforce have strongly denied the allegations.

A press release despatched to Metro by reps for Perry, on behalf of Matthew Boyd, legal professional for Tyler Perry and TPS Production Services, LLC, reads: ‘This is an individual who got close to Tyler Perry…We are confident these claims of harassment will fail.’

According to the lawsuit, as reported by TMZ, Dixon alleges that he first met Perry in 2019 at a public occasion, the place he claims the director approached him and requested his phone quantity.
