
Race Across The World’s Gaz has opened up about his marriage to Yin breaking down and the cause of their split.
The former married couple are one of five pairs taking part on this yr’s BBC competitors, travelling 14,000km from the Great Wall of China to Kanniyakumari, the southernmost tip of India.
Though they’ve been separated for 3 years, Gaz and Yin are taking over the emotional journey as ‘best friends’, with the previous explaining in tonight’s episode how their marriage fell aside.
He shared: ‘Being married to Yin was amazing, I did feel there’s safety being married since you’re a unit, you might be collectively.
‘But the breakdown of the connection was as a result of I grew to become lazy, I took Yin without any consideration.
‘Even to this day, I blame myself.’

Gaz recalled how he would drink himself ‘into a stupor’ as a result of he didn’t communicate to anybody about what he was going by means of.
