Princess Sofia of Sweden made her first public outing with her new child baby, Princess Ines, on Wednesday, as the royal family gathered to celebrate King Carl Gustaf’s 79th birthday. The monarch waved to crowds from the balcony of Stockholm’s Royal Palace, joined by his spouse, Queen Silvia, and three generations of the House of Bernadotte – together with Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, and their youngsters, Princess Estelle, 13, and Prince Oscar, 9. Princess Madeleine was additionally there to mark the event, alongside her husband Christopher O’Neill, their daughters, Princess Leonore and Princess Adrienne, and their son, nine-year-old Prince Nicolas.
But it was Princess Ines, simply three months outdated, who was the visitor of honour for the festivities. Princess Sofia and her husband, Prince Carl Philip, welcomed their first daughter on 7 February and introduced her out onto the balcony to meet the public for the first time alongside her brothers, , and Prince Gabriel, seven. Unfortunately, her third brother, four-year-old Prince Julian, was unwell and due to this fact unable to be a part of his family for the celebration.
