Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall had been married on July 30 2011 in Edinburgh, simply months after the Prince and Princess of Wales had been married in a lavish ceremony at Westminster Abbey. The occasion, which came about at Canongate Kirk, was not televised, making it a decidedly extra low-key affair for the royal couple.

Zara selected a tiara initially belonging to her grandfather, Prince Philip’s mom, for her wedding ceremony day. It was a Greek Key Tiara from Princess Anne’s assortment (sometimes called Princess Andrew’s Meander Tiara), made up of diamonds and reportedly created by Cartier in the early 1900s. Meanwhile she opted for a full size ivory silk robe by couturier Stewart Parvin.
