Isaacs doubled down on his trolling by tagging Duke University’s official Instagram account, a reference to another swirl of controversy from the show.

In one intense season 3 scene, Isaacs’ character, finance bro Tim Ratliff, dons a Duke T-shirt while contemplating suicide.

The moment went viral, and not in a good way.

A university official later slammed the show, telling The New York Times the character “does not reflect our values or who we are.”

Isaacs’ response? He showed up to the “White Lotus” finale party wearing the school’s Blue Devil mascot tee.

Of course, fans are still laser-focused on the real-life tension between Goggins and his on-screen love interest, Aimee Lou Wood.

The pair famously unfollowed each other on Instagram after filming wrapped, and Goggins didn’t do much to squash the drama in a new Times UK interview published May 1. When asked about the falling out, Goggins replied, “I’m not gonna have that conversation,” as his publicists swiftly shut down further questions.

He added, “There were alliances that formed and broke, romances that formed and broke, friendships that formed and broke. It’s a long period of time for people to be away from their family with an open bar and all the wildness being in Thailand allows.”

Further confusing fans, last month, Goggins gave a heartfelt shoutout to Wood in an Instagram post, writing, “Thank you Aimee Lou for being my partner… a journey I will never forget.”

Wood followed with a photo of the two on April 8, captioning it “A perfect storm.”

Adding fuel to the speculation was when Goggins previously had a slideshow of photos with Wood pinned to his Highlights… which is now mysteriously gone.
