After the Chicago Sky and Clark’s Indiana Fever confronted off on Saturday, May 17, Reese and Clark as soon as once more took over headlines after their fiery on-court interplay.

“Caitlin followers have each motive to hate Angel Reese,” he said. “Fever followers, Caitlin followers ought to hate Angel Reese. Angel Reese has been nothing however an instigator, agitator and jack-ss mainly for the final couple years.”

Portnoy Says Angel Reese Has ‘Doubled Down’ On Her Rivalry With Clark

Portnoy continued, explaining that Reese has “doubled down, tripled down, quadrupled down” on her “persona as Caitlin’s rival.”

“It’s one factor after one other, after one other. … The jealousy that Angel Reese has in direction of her and has constantly proven makes Caitlin followers hate her. … When you could have one participant that is continuously poking at you, continuously degrading you, sure, you are going to f-cking hate her,” he added.

“I do not suppose Angel needs to be criticized in any respect,” Clark informed ESPN. “I’m only one that competes, and he or she competed. I feel everyone knew there was going to be somewhat trash speak in your entire event. It’s not simply me and Angel.

She added, “We’re all competitive. We all show our emotions in a different way. You know, Angel is a tremendous, tremendous player. I have nothing but respect for her. I love her game – the way she rebounds the ball, scores the ball, is absolutely incredible. I’m a big fan of her and even the entire LSU team. They played an amazing game.”

Portnoy Has An Issue With The WNBA Investigating Claims Of Racism At The Indiana Fever Game

Following the Fever’s dominant 93-58 win over Reese and the Sky on Saturday, the WNBA issued a press release saying an investigation into claims that racist language was directed towards Reese inside Indiana’s Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

“The WNBA strongly condemns racism, hate, and discrimination in all forms — they have no place in our league or in society,” their assertion learn.

However, Portnoy expressed his frustration with the league and slammed them for feeding into what he described as “bullsh-t.”

“Unless something happened, which I know it didn’t, for them to acknowledge this and kind of paint Indiana Fever fans…..and say ‘we’re investigating the hate,’ by acknowledging ‘we don’t condone hate’ and not seeing that this was an internet rumor founded of complete bulls–t… you’re lending credence to this,” he mentioned.

Angel Reese And Caitlin Clark Moved On From The Foul After The Game

During the post-game conferences final Saturday, each Reese and Clark expressed their want to maneuver on from the flagrant foul.

“Basketball play. Refs got it right. Move on,” Reese informed reporters, whereas Clark informed the media to not make the play into “anything that it’s not.”
